Initially after the purchase I was concerned about how it would perform in a live venue. It was great!! Plenty of power and great tone! Add that to it's ability to play my music library and allow me to play along and rehearse and you have a happy customer here!!!

I'm a beginning guitar player and I looked at a wide variety of options before I decided to give the Amplifi 150 a try. After spending several weeks now I can honestly say I am simply blown away by all of the capabilities, features and amazing tones this produces. With 25 slots of 4 banks each, 100 different tones can be stored in the amp itself and then instantly accessed via the addition of an FBV MK II footswitch. While only slot 1, banks 1-4 are available without an iPhone or iPad connected, you still have all the usual settings available to manipulate the 4 tones in slot1, such as gain, bass, mid, treble, reverb, drive and volume. Store a clean tone, a rhythm tone, a lead tone and a heavy effect tone and you've got an amazing range of sounds. Bluetooth connect your iPhone or iPad or android device using the free app and you have a virtually limitless supply of tones. It's truly amazing. I think for someone like me starting out this gives me all the features I will want or need for years to come. I highly recommend this amp! P.s. The 150 is unbelievably loud, 1/4 volume with a high gain amp selected will rattle my windows :) what more could I ask

Played keyboards for years, learning guitar now. Jamming at home every night

Well, you think it's going to be a little confusing when you are dealing with new technologies and amps.. It's simple to get up and running with the sound and tone your looking for with a simple download of an app. It's a free download, and the rest is as easy as picking a song you want to play, and immediately dialing up the tone with your Bluetooth device.. It's amazing, it's easy, and it's affordable. I love mine.

Musical Background:

Guitars, Gibsons, Taylors, Martins.. I jam at home mostly, and have been playing for maybe 10 yrs.

"Great Practice Amp"

Pros: This is a great practice amp. Just pair your phone with the amp and you're instantly practicing with whatever song you've cued.Tweek the sound through an easy to use interface.Amp matches your sound to whatever song is being played.Cons: The minimalist interface on the amp is pretty but not functional. Another device is needed just to edit your sounds or change the effects. There's only 4 banks of sounds stored on the amp so if you want to use it live you'll constantly be messing with your phone to choose other guitar sounds. I play in a cover band so this is very annoying. Needs an external pedal that you can access your tones through. Would be nice to have a simple peddle that could cycle through a playlist of sounds created by the user.Takes too long to select a guitar sound when playing a song. You should be able to select your favorite sound and every time the song is played it instantly switches to that sound before looking for other sounds.Loses it's pairing often. Not good for live shows if your constantly losing signal. Playing a song through the amp often incurs dropping out. Very annoying.

Musical Background:

I've been playing various musical instruments since I was a child. Didn't start guitar until later in life. Rock/cover band.

Musical Style:
