To start off the finish on the bass is gorgeous. The neck is painted but is very matte making it easy to go up and down the fretboard. This bass has a 3 band eq that works just as good as any other. I specifically love the active/passive switch on this bass as it makes the bass so easy to switch between genres of music. Now I just need to save up to get the black one! This bass is awesome!
