I was stuck between these and a few other brands for monitors.. after watching a video on a speaker tear down of each company, it was clear this was the way I was going to go.. the build of these and the components used surpass the other speakers in this range. These are built like tanks and have had nothing but compliments on how they sound.. the only thing I wish they did have was a visual clip light that I could see from a distance..

First off these things are built very well and the reason the are a little heavy. They sound great pretty smooth mid and highs great low end. I bought one for smaller venues such as nursing homes etc. I was really interested in the coaxial design. I own a pair of the Maui 28’s and they are great for my main events the sound sold me on the idea of getting this one without seeing nor hearing them before hand the risk was worth it! And it’s a great value if you compare it to a K 12 that’s about double the price and imho competes with it. A winner hands down I believe the best value out there.

I bought one of these for smaller spaces shorter gigs like a nursing home. I love the sound there’s just enough low end and vocals sound awesome through these actually better then my 28’s line array. I put it up on a tall stand and it fills the room. Actually thinking on selling the Muai 28’s and getting another one of these instead. I’m not a dj I do solo one man band with a Silent guitar and backing tracks so I’m not playing floor thumping tunes that make the 28’s necessary.

I was needing some budget friendly stage monitors and decided to try these out. I have been PLEASED with their performance. I have actually used these LD Systems ICOA 12 A to do some smaller parties and wedding receptions as FOH. I was disappointed to see that these have been discontinued. But I do see that they were replaced with a Bluetooth upgrade. Nevertheless, I highly recommended these.
