Quality instrument, finish is flawless and fun to look at. It needed an action adjustment but other than that it is great. The case is obnoxiously large, but it is nice and snug. I played a show with this outdoors in the heat and it held up great! Very light, no noticeable neck dive, and the jack input is in a great place that does not get in the way when you are sitting down. I have no complaints, Kramer is doing a great job.

The guitar needed a slight setup. Action was a little too high but this was easy to remedy. Truss rod needed no adjustment. Plays very well. No sharp fret edges and frets are level. There are spots left after removal of the protective plastic film on the V plate below the bridge. This is an issue others have reported on Youtube. Next time I change strings I will take the plate off and buff it to see if that removes the spots. So far they do not just rub off. The metallic green finish on mine is fantastic. No blemishes that I can find. All in all very happy with the purchase!

My first V of any kind and I went for this Dave Mustaine signature guitar! Loved Megadeth for years and I’m big fan of Dave and his past guitars. The Kramer caught my eye on the net and I went to zZounds because it’s my first port of call for all my gear!! I have to say right off the bat these guys are incredible! The price matched the guitar for me down to 999.99 from 1299.99 which is huge, the reason I’m a customer for life! This instrument is a lot of fun to play, wide and thin neck profile, really powerful pickups, so much I had to back them off a bit to calm them down a bit.. In fact I had to play with the setup quite a bit out of the case!! The action was high, for me and the neck had no relief. The worst thing about the setup however is the alignment of the strings! The nut is a standard black tusq 43mm and has been installed here on fingerboard slightly wider spacing. I had to buy a blank and recut my own nut to get things lined up.Other than that, it sits on a strap well and is comfy to sit with too! And of course who doesn’t LOVE that rust in peace green!!

The guitar is a showpiece for sure!! That green paint is excellent. But i have an issue with the string spacing on mine! I think the nut is a pre slotted Black Tusq nut but the spacing is uneven bass to treble and it’s not wide enough creating some sloppy looking spacing against the dots. This was a grand and I should have returned it!! But I’m dealing with it and replacing the nut myself!
