I have the Alien Green Version of this Signature model, I'm not sure if this is available at the moment, however aside for the finish the specs are Identical. The setup came "OK" I did need to adjust the action a little even to get it comfortable and whilst setting up noticed that the nut had been cut kind of weird. I investigated to see if the dots had been inlayed out of center but they were perfect, I suspect what's happened here is that Kramer have used a stock width graphtech nut (which doesn't quite for the slot) and was precut. The string spacing isn't quite right for the fingerboard and whilst this might seem minor, this is a thousand dollar guitar! With Dave's name on it!! Luckily i was able to reinstall a blank, recut the nut and get on with life, but this may have cost a little bit of money at a local repair place.At this point I have to give zZounds major props, the guitar was listed a little more on their site , I sent them a different price and they immediately discounted my guitar down to 999.99 absolutely first class customer service. The rest of the guitar is great, it hangs well balanced and plays and sounds great too. Daves Thrash factor sounds to me just a like a hot JB but you might think different. It's actually a dark sounding guitar, I had to EQ in a little top end and some mids to get some classic crunchiness.the paintwork is excellent, the other hardware is well mounted and the case is pretty good too!! So apart form my initial reservations about the setup and the nut this was a great purchase!
