I love the comfort of these headphones, I use them for all my music needs so i needed the best.... and that sure is what I got

These headphones provide clarity like no other, when I first put them on I felt like i was sent to some sort of relaxation therapy session because they were so comfortable. By far the best headphones I've invested into. as far as sound goes..... UNBELIEVABLE, they are flawless in everyway possible. Great design great comfort great durability

I love these cans for their mids. There are on the lively side, but the placement and separation is rock solid. Wonderful for mixing voice, guitar, etc. Great transient response. These would be the perfect choice, except... the bass is weak. What can I say? After a long burn-in (150 hours), the bass is better, but still weak. On the stereo, I can simply click it up one notch, and am happy. But that's not an option when recording! Too bad. I still use these for tough set-ups where the mids need to be perfect, but I need to use another set for checking the bass... PS: They very comfortable with good isolation.

I will not buy another set of headphones. I've got KRK monitors & now the headphones and have yet to regret the purchase. In fact, when my associates come to my studio they typically go home and sell their current monitoring setup in order to purchase KRK products. Yes, they're that good.
Sound
A flat, no nonsense, highly accurate response that has enhanced my mixdowns exponentially. That KNS 8400's have allowed me to accurately place sounds within the sonic field which has given my tracks that "full" sound they've been lacking. They're essentially KRK monitors for the ears, and that's a good thing. If you produce, you need these headphones. For the price range, they can't be touched. Make sure you give them a proper amount of burn-in (about 80 or so hours) to really enhance the fidelity.
Features
Pretty simple features. However, the selling point is the memory foam on the headband and ears. I can wear these babies for hours and not feel a bit of discomfort. And if by chance they ever wear down, I can simply by replacement cushions. How sweet is that?
Ease of Use
They're headphones. If you require explanation then perhaps you should choose another field of experience.
Quality
Great build, great feel. The cord is a tad long for my taste, but perhaps this was done in order to accommodate those who need the length to reach a vocal booth or performer. Again, the memory foam is where it's at.
Value
For the money, you simply can't afford to NOT have these headphones. And they come with a chic faux leather bag. Sweet.

I'm no international superstar producer, but I know enough to understand the importance of not only proper monitoring, but listening to mixes on different sources. These headphones are like another pair of monitors for my studio, and help especially when it comes to panning instruments within the stereofield accurately.
Sound
The KRK KNS 8400 headphones are the best in this price range and beyond for that matter. If you're looking for heavy bass and false stereo fields, go waste your money on some Beats By Dre. But, if you're serious about music production and are looking for an accurate, transparent flat response - do yourself a favor a pick up these headphones. Don't let the immediate "dullness" of the sound turn you off, like many pro studio headphones the KRK KNS require about 80 hours of burn-in to really unleash the potential. Regardless, they're simply the best, like all KRK products.

Aside from the sound quality, the memory foam (which can be replaced) makes these headphones the most comfortable I've ever worn. You can literally wear the for hours on end and when you take them off you won't feel as though your skull has been crushed.
