"So you want to be a producer...Well, do you have $1,799. Get the Triton Pro 76 key!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

It's easy to use, it's a great machine, it's going to last forever, and it's creative possibilities are great for a home recording set-up. It's better priced than the crappy boards put out by others.
Sound
Sounds are excellent!!!
Features
The sampler, and synchronizer are suprisingly easy to use, the whole board is great, the only complaint I have is that I dont have enough time to use all of its features!
Quality
Doesn't look or fell cheap. Like the Fantom's plastic feel, this board feels durable. The keys and buttons don't miss.
Value
For this price you can either buy a truly crappy car, or a great keyboard. Go for the keyboard, make some music, distribute it, make some money, then go buy a better car. For $1,800 you cant find a better workstation. It's that simple.
Manufacturer Support
I say the best because, products that require you to "get to know" the service department dont need to be scored. I've owned the og Kaoss Pad 1 now for about 4 years, I've beat the crap out of it, and it still looks, feels, works, and smells like new.
The Wow Factor
On my way to buy it right now!!!!!!!

"It's the Streamlined Workstation with a PUNCH!"

If you like doing everything - get this board. Plain and simple! Now I gotta pick me up a Korg Karma and a MicroKORG! (Did I mention I'm a big Korg fan?)
Sound
There are a lot of great sounds to offer on this keyboard for a wide range of music styles from Techno to Rock and from Jazz to Latin. However, some of brass and violin sounds are very, very digital and don't sound overly realistic. As for the Piano (which is a key feature), there are tons of them, but once again, there are only so many variations one can make to the piano sound (though the harpsichord is top notch)
Features
While it's got fewer banks than the studio, the pro comes with everything necessary to make wonderful music. Appegiator, Vocoder, Sampler, Sequencer, Realtime effect controller, Four way effect controller, and a slider 100's and 100's of sounds...did I mention all of them are configurable? The touch screen makes navigation of the pages rather effortless and while the keys aren't full weight, the whole keyboard feels great. One little hiccup, no easy access to an Expansion slot, and only one slot free to work with. But that's why it's 1500 cheaper than the Studio.
Quality
Korg is elite when it comes to packaging and the Triton Pro is no exception. The sleek metal frame sits nicely anywhere. The keys feel wonderful and are velocity sensitive. The buttons don't feel cheap and the nobs don't feel like they are going to snap off if you move to fast. The control stick has a nice push back on it so there's a little give a take while you play (not so much as on the Fantom which is a "thank god"). Only two things. The jog wheel isn't as precise as it could be and I wish they had found a better use for the slide pad (but those are negligable problems)
Value
$2300 is not cheap. But you get what you pay for with this machine. If you have the money, get this, if you really have the money, get the pro-X with the weighted keys (but either one is really fantastic). And if you really have money to kill...Get the Studio! But they are all the same beast. One thing I will say. If you are interested in this keyboard and the Le is calling to you because of price...STAY AWAY...the Le cannot do what this keyboard does. Hope that helps.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't dealt with them yet...didn't need to (although I hear people are not really satisfied with the support)
