I needed a new midi controller with basic DAW control functionality. This fits the bill and then some. Decent, playable keys. and Enough DAW support to fit my needs (fader control, mute/sole/arm, pan, transport, etc). very lightweight, compared to my novation SL compact49, but still feels solid. The extra features however, make the bang for the buck in my opinion... being able to use the trackpad as a mouse, the note scale and chord scale functions help bring melodies and chord progression ideas quickly... and it lookd good int he studio. The drum pads are good, not as good as my TriggerFinger pro, but very usable. all in all a great controller. (Only gave 1/2 star for sound, because its just a midi controler, no sound )

I thought it may be small, but it turned out to be just the right size for me. It doesn't have a Power adapter, I plugged it to my wall USB, and it works just fine. I got a chock-full of software with this thing, and I'm yet to explore the whole shebang of it. It sounds very good, fairly easy, has a good collection of effects. You don't go wrong with something like this.

I have a Guitar as well.
