"just little guy but can knock over some big boys"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
definetely one-of-its kind type of thing. it's really fun to play with. but not good for live applications.
Sound
i have to fiddle with it to get the sounds I want. Some presets are good to use, but they primarily give you a feel of what kind of stuff you can do with it. You can definetely tune it to the sound you want. The background noise gets annoying though, especially if you are you using a clean sound
Features
i like the "amp" knobs. Makes it easier to fiddle with it. Main thing is that it's small, fits in the pocket, can take it anywere with guitar and small amp. Makes it easier to for practices at friend's home or take with you to a lesson. Good screen, very easy to see. I wish you could hook up a pedal to it. Otherwise you don't want to use it for live gigs, unless you get good at clicking them small buttons
Quality
distortions come out nice. i like the acoustic guitar effect. Definetely adds to how much you can tweak your clean sounds. too much noise (ie fuzz)- it kinda bugs me if i want to use clean sound.
Value
i think it's a great value if you want something small, portable and concenient. if you want it for live gigs primarily, i would get a foot operated FX toy. However, now that i've had this little baby, I fell in love with and couldn't possible part with it. it is plain cool.
The Wow Factor
it is definetely nice to have this smart FX processor size of a tuner or a metronome. First thing I did when I got it is brag to everyone 'look how small it is and how much power it has packed in it"

Korg ToneWorks PX4 Pandora Personal Effects Processor for Guitar Customer Review

Sound
This is the best investment I ever made. I am student at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and Pandora is my best friend now. I can practice where ever I want, and even warm up, tune, and jam before the classes, all that with one little unit. I like Phrase Trainer and AUX IN features, which are useful if you jam with CD, and then sample a solo section and loop it or change a pitch (transpose). I found Pandora useful for home recording. I don't even use amp, I just go straight into a sound card. All amp modeling sounds are GREAT. The only thing I didn

"Great box of tricks for the money"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
There are some very good sounds in this little box considering it's size. The px4 does not replace a proper tube amp/stack whatever but it does a pretty good job at replicating various sounds. The sound is a little digital, but saying that, through a good pair of headphones, I found it gave me some great tones that I had never imagined possible fromm my guitar. The stereo ambiance is pretty amazing and you can lose hours going through different types of musicals just by changinng patches. The crunch distortion has good sustain but is a little synthetic compared to a real amp. The 'Melissa' settting inspired by Vai is a great clean tone. This is the only box I know that can get that. If this had come out when I started the guitar, it would have saved me
Features
I was really impressed with the amount of features they cram into such a small box. Shows how technology has moved on. You probably get the same amount of effects & Tweaks that a 90's rack costing 10x moe would have and little sacrifice in quality. The backlight on the display is very useful, as is the backing drums. Flanger, Chorus, delay, distortion, overdrive, harmoniser, pitch shifter, flute???
Quality
Its plastic. If you treat it with the same respect you do your guitar, it will last for years. It is not a stomp box, however. Stomping on it will decoprate the floor in a shower of blue and black plastic. I keep it in my guitar case and it lives quite happily in there when transporting it. The buttons click nicely and all do their job well. The backlit display is the most visually stunning thing about this. When the lights are low it gives off a pleasant amber glow. Ahh. The box is not quite up to the overall quality of the line 6 pod but you get what you pay for.
Value
You get turbo charged multi person carrier with this. It is not very expensive, can do a lot pretty well for most people but will not keep up with the bigger more expensive boys. In short, great value for what you pay.
The Wow Factor
If your a begginer on a budget, get one now. If your a pro that wants something small to practice with in your hotel room (Behave), then this does the job very well. I use it sat inn the garden with headphones.

"GREAT MULTI EFFECTS"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
The only negative thing about it is its basically impossible to use live, unless you change it between songs.
Sound
Awesome sound quality. Easily as good as any pedal I have ever used. Live sounds just as good as recording, though it sounds slightly different because of the amp modeling.
Features
Its awesome. I only with you could add distortion/overdrive other the the gain knob.
Quality
very well made.
Value
good value
Manufacturer Support
never dealt with them.
The Wow Factor
I would have prefered a POD over this, judging the looks, but it sounds great.

"do you really have that much to spend on just a practice tool?"

Overall: 3 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
depends...the cleans are super crisp and there are some interesting proprietary effects, but...the distortions are unbearably noisy (noise gate doesn't do a thing)
Features
It's the size of a cassette and it has a huge amount of features, but...a few of them don't function (among other things, the "feedbacker" comes on whenever it feels like it and the "synth" sticks on almost every note). On the other hand, it has a "tap" feature for full editing of the reverbs and delays, making it acceptable (barely) for direct recording to PC (I don't recomend you record the distortions)...it's really just a practice tool, though. It has a good phrase trainer and the guitar tuner is superb (it also has infra-red for wireless headphones...but who has those?)
Quality
quite solid
Value
too expensive for just a practice tool
Manufacturer Support
don't know...so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt
The Wow Factor
it's gorgeous, but then what? Form follows funcion.

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars

Sound
It's good for practice, and not the best for concert. It's really for your personal enjoyment only.
Features
It has alot of features, but I am not sure how much difference they make. Alot of different parameters, but not enough change in sounds.
Quality
I can't say it's the highest quality. So far, it hasn't broken down yet, but I am expecting some problems in the future.
Value
It offers more than buying three or four pedals combined. Good for trying different sounds.
