I was a bit skeptical but I did my homework in this one I was doing a latin production and needed some synth sounds and yes I could’ve used Omnisphere or others but I wanted to go the full analog way and connect this lil bad boy to some neve preamps and let me tell you it holds its own! Very happy with this purchase and this one is staying in the studio.

I love this synth!! There's so many great patches and I've also been created my own. I actually use this for mainly my talk box because its easy to use and i love the portamento setting. The pads, bass and leads are all dope on here!

This synth has it all. Analog Warmth, digital glass, 16 step motion sequencer, arpeggiator, beautiful effects and on and on. PLUS more effects and oscillators can be installed super easily with the Korg Sound Librarian.If you're just getting into synthesizers, you will be amazed and satisfied with the XD. Very user friendly.I've owned mine for about 9 months now and I still find myself saying 'this thing is amazing" every time I play it, which is almost daily.

This synth is capable of many sounds and styles, makes subtractive synthesis simple and has been very inspiring. A polyphonic analog (digital hybrid, which is a big plus) synthesizer packed with this many features is a steal at its price.

I'm an aging post punk. I have played internationally in obscure bands. Now I make eclectic instrumentals peppered with vocals.

This is my first hardware synth, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. What an incredibly fun piece of hardware. The sound this unit produces is incredible, and playing with it is so intuitive. I'm excited to get deeper into synthesis and this device is a fantastic way to do that. The build is quality, the knobs and switches are a pleasure to use. The screen is small but bright and very useful. Korg packed a ridiculous amount of functionality into this device. There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to utilizing the litany of menu options available. That's the one place where the device becomes a little bit less intuitive, when you have to dig around the menus. However, it's a small price to pay for the functionality, incredible sound and pure enjoyment that you get when using this device. Love it!
