way quicker to set up and start using than my MPC, the interface is intuitive, responsive, and fun! the huge bank of sounds and beats is more suited to dubstep and techno, but hey, you weren't looking for a Korg to make death metal on, were you? go ahead, buy it, watch a few tutorials, and i guarantee even a 'net troll will be making beats the 1st day!

I called Korg to see if they are going to update the previous model with the extra 50 sounds and they said no there will be no update! This company spits in the face of their customers as they try to bleed an extra $400 from us for 50 new sounds! this is unbelievable and no one should buy this because of that. Roland and other companies have all given updates. Next year you can probably expect the Kaossilator pro 2 to hit you for another $400. If you don't feel ripped off then by all means buy it!
