"Great Tuner"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
see below
Features
This tuner is now 8 years old and has never given me any problems. The tuning is perfect. I dopped it 100 times with no problems noted. Battery life exceeds a year and I use it every day. This is a reasonably priced workhorse that will totally satisfy you unless you do a lot of alternative tunings.
Quality
It still looks as good as the day i bought it.
Manufacturer Support
Never needed support.
The Wow Factor

"Very good tuner for the money"

Overall: 3.5 out of 5 stars

Basically a very good inexpensive tuner. It works very well with acoustic guitar, but I seem to have problems getting my electric in tune, but maybe my electric guitar is the problem.

"DOn't Bother. Move one to something better...."

I have a couple of other tuners and I only use this one as an emergency back up. Needless to say, I'm shopping for a better back up than this one. GT-3 is quite disappointing.
Sound
It doesn't make any sound of its own but the bypass will alter the original sound greatly in a negative manner.
Features
It is small enough to be taken anywhere and takes up very little space on pedalboards. Faster and better pitch/LED response would be great. The LEDs wonders quite a bit.
Ease of Use
LED/pitch response is rather sluggish and needs certain amount of patience to get instruments in tune with this tuner. I recall the official spec of +/- 3 cents accuracy and combine that with the built in margin of LEDs, instrument may be quite a bit out of tune if one is not careful.
Quality
While the tuner being plastic, overall build of the tuner is good.
Value
I would recommend springing for a tuner with a better spec. Korg makes other tuners that are much better in every aspect.
Manufacturer Support
Sluggish e-mail response.
The Wow Factor
Why would anyone want something that's marginal? The answer is "nobody".

Works ok with a guitar plugged in but the mic doesn't work that great with acoustic guitars or mandolins.
