"Perfect for my rig."

Perfect stage piano for what I need in my rig. Keys in a classic rock, blues, classic pop band a pretty varied. I run a Prophet, Mojo, and Vintage DX7 so I don't need a workstation. I need a good sounding piano/EP. This fills that role really well. The key bed on this is the best by far you can get under $1K. Probably even more. If you want it to feel like a real piano but be easy to carry and set up this is a good option. I will say it was the worse factory packaging I've ever experienced. Korg needs to step that game up. Board was loose in the box with styrofoam pieces broken up all over the inside. Luckily the board was undamaged.

"EXCELLENT Keybed"

The Korg D1 RH3 keybed justifies the price. As time moves forward, lower- to moderately-priced keyboards are inclined to omit midi in/out (5-pin) ports in favor of USB "To Device". But in a stage or studio setup I prefer midi for being able to drive an array of midi external modules, etc. The unit has Midi IN/OUT, damper, LINE OUT and headphone jacks along with 30-built-in voices, Reverb, Chorus, Transpose, Touch Control, Temperaments, Effects and Metronome. The D1 digital piano is not ONLY for stage; it is a piano PERIOD - for home and studio use as well. The piano voices are very good for the price-point. The unit is solidly built with handsome Japanese minimalist styling. Finally, the RH3 keybed closely matches the weighted hammer action and key return of acoustic pianos I use (I'm classical/jazz).For pro or student, stage, studio, home: Great!

This is an amazing piano, action is amazing, and the price is really good for all you get, would recommend getting the stand that goes with this keyboard.
