This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
I can honestly say that the korg ax3b bass modeling signal processor is a must have for those who like to try something new and for those who like to experiment with effect pedals.this is good buy.
Sound
The sounds on the korg ax3b is amazing.I like the shred distortion. sounds really cool when I combine it with the bi-chorus.This multi-effect pedal is very useable for live gigs, recording, and of course rehersals. I definitly recommend this pedal to bass players who likes to experiment with effect pedals.
Features
This multi-effect pedal has many features such as amp models, distortion channels, modulations, reverb and delays,etc...I wish I can use the amp models with the distortion channels, but that okay, an amp modeler(like the line 6 bass pod xt)can take care of that.
Ease of Use
This pedal has a few simple controls and I can say that it's very easy to get the sound that you desire.
Quality
It maybe made of plastic, but it's built like a rock.it can withstand any live performances.
Value
This is definitly a safe buy.lots of awesome effects at an affordable price.

"a good solid effects pedal"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
If you have the money to spend on a more expensive pedal id recommend doing so but if u dont and just want to get some more cool sounds out of ur bass then i would recommend this (but dont just buy it if u only want one or two of the effects.
Sound
The Sound is pretty good on the effects especially the phasers, chorus's and the synth bass. The distortion is pretty crappy compared to analog pedals and it doesnt really offer much of a flanger but for the price you really shouldnt expect to much. it does have a good noise reduction that doesnt take away from the qualitie of the effect u just have to remeber to turn it on. Overall the sound would be good for practice or small gigs or just playing on your own. but if ur into recording alot and sound qualities a big deal you wont want this cause its got a low sampling rate.
Features
I was only disipointed that it didnt come with a ac adapter witch is $$15 extra but its got everything else 57 effects in 5 diffrent catagorys abilitie to adjust the parameters of each effect plenty of room to make your own presets. onboard and easy to use tuner which also gives you the abilitie to mute the output to tune which would be great at a gig. 2 pedals to go up and down and if u bend down you can go by tens on ur list of presets but thats a pain.
Ease of Use
the basic creating of effects i figured out after taking it out of the box but adjusting the parameters u need the manual to tell u which control is wat otherwise u could end up adjusting the wrong parameter for instance if you were using a amp modeler like the classic amp u could end up adjusting the treble instead of the bass cause the only explantion on the screen is p1,p2,p3 or p4
Quality
its plastic but its strong sturdy thick plastic it was take alot of force to break this like the only way i could is jumping on it for a while or hurling agaisnt a wall or something.
Value
Its the cheapest its worth it for someone whos doesnt have to much extra cash to spend like me
Manufacturer Support
i put 10 cause i havnt had to deal with them
The Wow Factor
it looks worse in the pics i have to say because its actually smaller then the blown up pics its a tiny box very sleek to bad it doesnt come in the black like the guitar version.
