I own other Korg FX units & I am very happy with this one too.
They always sound awesome & do their job.
Sound
Excellent sound quality!
Features
a great variety of sounds to choose from which is what most players will want & use.
Quality
Product is mostly plastic but, not most things if you are not rough with it it will last. The foot petal will do the job and last.
Value
This is an excellent sounding FX bass modeling unit.
It's one of the best out there.
Manufacturer Support
I have not had to deal with Korg regarding any problems with any of their products.
The Wow Factor

"The Very Interesting Korg AX10B."
Sound
Very clear sound. Adds punch to my system. Because I play all different types of music it is nice to have such a small unit with so much variety. I also own the Korg Ampworks Bass unit and the two of them are great. I don't plug them in with one another but I use the Ampworks for practicing and the AX10B for gigging. I'm not giving this a 10 because some of the sounds are a little too out there. Personally, I just have no need for distortion or a flange sound.
Features
This does not come with the AC adapter that I really need because using batteries could stop the unit in the middle of a performance. Unfortunately, I've been waiting for over 2 months for the AC adapter to come in.
I really like the tuner and how one can tune the unit quietly and not have it go through the system. It's also nice to be able to create your own sounds and save them. I don't use lots of effects but the amp sounds are really cool.
Quality
This looks super! Things are a little delicate but nothing has broken so far. The only difficult problem is if you're using the foot pedal on a carpetted floor the whole unit tends to lean that way.
Manufacturer Support
As mentioned above, I've been waiting over 2 months for an AC adapter to come in. Maybe it's because I live in Canada. But where is it coming from? Nothing should take that long.
The Wow Factor
This is a practical addition to my various bass setups. I have two different systems and it works great with both. I hear a lot more depth and variety in my sound!
Musical Style:
Rock, Country, R&B, Big Band Jazz and almost everything else.

"Great for live, forget it in the studio!"

Sound
Sounds fine in mono through an amp. Sounds absolutely horrible running direct. The "stereo" delays aren't and the compressor is really really hissy. Take the compressor out of the mix and run with just the amp sim and secondary effects, its not too shabby, but not as good as an old zoom stomp box I use as a doorstop. The exception is the synth models, which are nice. Oh yeah, the octave effect is really poor too.
Features
It has the right combination, just not good for running direct/stereo.
Quality
Sturdy enough, but sounds wanky.
Value
Good live box. Good price/value for that application.

"for first time effect buys this is it!!"
Sound
i made this my first effects buy, i had to choose this or the zoom 708II, lucky that i chos this one.. the sound it makes is prettry good nice chorus and other effects.. the preamp models are probably why i like this product, there are so many tones you can create with this.. especially since it is cheap.
Features
the product is very nice.. built in tuner but no drum machine which i liked about zoom. the effects are nice the sound quality is good. plus the rems technology is pretty sick
Quality
it is a pretty sturdy product made out of strong materials. that i really like.. zoom is just made out of plastic..
Value
yeah for the price of this product it can really be a strong contender for the 100-150$ price bracket.. considering the other choices are mostly from zoom and digitech however for me, a built in drum track would have sealed the deal
Manufacturer Support
so far so good..
The Wow Factor
yes i do, i own it
