I'm very happy with the sound. Honestly a lot better tone than I was expecting. Not as loud as I might like but certainly enough volume to get by, and the on board volume control is great. Very easy to install and swap between my different mandolins.
Sound
It very faithfully captures the sound of my mandolin, and is very clear and balanced. There is no on board EQ, so you'll want a pedal or something to help out with that.
Features
Having the volume knob is definitely helpful. The whole thing seems to have a very solid construction, the ebony casing of the jack especially.
