"Expensive, but worth it."

I know, I know- it's just a keyboard stand. Why so expensive? Well, I don't know if this is one of these things that can be explained. But once you own it and load it up with your expensive synth, controller, or digital piano, you'll understand why you paid so much. This thing is rock solid. The height adjustment is literally a bolt through a hole (with a crazy amount of holes to choose from)- no twist-type friction lock here. Just set it and forget it. The metal is thicker than all the budget stands out there. I'm comparing this to two X-type foldable stands and a budget 2-tier that I already had, neither of which I felt comfortable putting my new Juno D8 on for longer than a practice session. Listen, I'm a tightwad. I'll pinch pennies when I can. But if you're looking for a solid stand for your stuff, I'd consider this a "buy once, cry once" item. It'll be with you for the long haul.
Sound
It's a stand, so it doesn't produce any sound- WHICH IS A GOOD THING. My last 2-tier would rattle with a bit of bass.
Features
I'm surprised with the adjustability while still maintaining a solid stand for heavier keyboards.
Ease of Use
Works great with my synth and digital piano. A bonus feature is they include extra rubber "feet" that you can stick anywhere on the mounting arms, so it doesn't really matter which keyboard you use it with.
Quality
Product is made extremely well. The welds look great. I expect it to outlast me.
Value
It could stand to be a little less expensive, but it is the best keyboard stand I've ever used.
Manufacturer Support
I didn't have to deal with the manufacturer, and judging by the quality, I doubt I'll ever need to.
The Wow Factor
The biggest appeal would be how solid it is. It doesn't flex or move when you really get rockin' on the keys.

"Great digital piano stand!"

I own a Casio PX-560. I love this instrument- BUT since I play out I needed a portable, FIRM, good looking stand. The Casio stand is not portable unless you have a van or large SUV, and frankly it looks kind of "wimpy". In fact I was using a Casio CGP-700 stand which is even worse since I was carrying around the speakers which I could not use. I looked at all the stands available. It is obvious that one or two companies make stands, then sell them to different firms with various names on them! Things are compounded by the fact that the Casio instruments have a steel reinforcing bar under the piano. This prevents the piano from sitting flat, sooooo you have to have something that supports the piano and takes this into consideration, OR you have to modify the stand. I chose to buy a quality stand that looks good and supports the piano firmly and is portable. The K&M stand (in white) filled the bill. This stand is modern looking, allows plenty of legroom under the stand, AND is rock solid! NOW, I had to have custom made two steel bars that run the length of the piano. These bars support the PX-560 fully so I could remove the steel bar under the piano. I measured carefully and had two slots milled out of these bars, so they fit perfectly on the two arms that support the piano on the K&M stand. Now, was this a bit of work and cost- YES. BUT- now I have a rock solid stand that looks great and is easily portable. IF, you have a piano that has a metal frame: Korg-Nord-Kawai etc you will not need these modifications I made. But for me it was worth it. What good is a stand if the piano is bouncing around? The K&M is a great choice, it is built like a tank, yet is not heavy, and it looks great. If your serious about your playing, this is THE stand.
Sound
OK this is a stand, but since the keyboard remains firmly in place, you are probably going to play better- and sound better!
Features
Steel- steel- and ROCK SOLID. Available in three colors- simply quality!
Ease of Use
It takes about 2 minutes to set this up- and that consists of tightening two large hand screws! Some reviews commented that the instructions were in German. Yes, they are in German on the first page, but two pages over you have English. Perhaps they had an all German version.
Quality
I have already commented- steel and rock solid!
Value
IT'S WORTH IT! Or would you rather play on a stand where your keyboard is bouncing around all night?
Manufacturer Support
Have never dealt with K&M so I have no experience.
The Wow Factor
Looks Great!

The K&M looks good in a living room full of antiques. There's no wobble or any loose parts, even on top of a braided rug. Easy to adjust, tools are not required.

It arrived but one of the upper arms was missing. I called zZounds and customer service said that it was going to be two to three weeks to get another arm. I called K&M and no response. So I am sending it back. Was not too impressed for a keyboard stand over $219.
