I was going to write one of my usual long drawn out reviews touting the virtues of this pedal, but all you really need to know is that you need this delay pedal in your life and on your board. 5 delay types, dual delay, 8 user presets, and it sounds incredible. Preset 1 - The Halo effect is amazing in stereo and sounds great in mono too. Moving between presets is intuitive and is much easier than the Walrus D1 IMHO. Saving and modifying presets is easy. This delay has just about everything you need except MIDI. External tap or expression outputs, small footprint, and amazing sound. Go buy it!

This is pretty much the last delay pedal you'll ever need. In mono it sounds amazing. In stereo it sounds like it's from another world. Initially, I was put off by the programming of it. Watching a few YouTube videos and starting with baby steps through each option of the functionality made most sense. It can be overwhelming at first, but if you spend some time with it, it all makes sense.I'm using a 2-button switch from American Loopers to control it, and it works amazingly well. At first I thought 'there are too many presets', but since I play with a few bands, I can build 2 distinct presets to switch between for each band. Super smart. The unit is super solid, everything built by Robert Keeley is. No cutting corners in terms of quality. In terms of sound, it appears limitless and able to dial down to miniscule detail with convincingly warm tape delays with all of the flutter and row,all the way to crystalline prestige clean delays. The Halo mode is a sound to melt your insides to butter. I use this only with recording as it is rather intense for what I need with bands. Super happy with this purchase. 10/10

This pedal is well with the price. The build quality is stellar and the soft click buttons are smooth. Keeley did not cut corners on the workmanship here. Initially, I was a bit turned off that I had to set the pedal up, so I let it sit for a few months. A buddy of mine had also gotten one and set his up, so I decided to take the time to read the manual and wrap my head around the little bit if programming. Super glad that I did. I have been using a Digitech Obscura Delay forever, and only needed to twist knobs, so just some patience was needed to master the Halo. Once I took the time to understand the functions of the knobs, it became easier to utilize. The delays are beyond stellar. I only use 2 delays in it (so far) and I have it set up to have tails when I disengage. The amount of options here are almost mind boggling. I also bought a 2-button pedal that I use with a stereo patch cable to turn on and change delays from American Loopers. It works like a charm and keeps the pedal out if the way. There was nothing to set up with the controller. Very georgeous saturation and degredation as well as tape and digital delays. Super sweet Pat Metheny chorused delays that sound like beautifully clouded reverb. Zero noise, zero problems. I'll be getting another for my other board and selling my TC electronic and Digitech delays. This beats them all!!
