If this case ever breaks. I'll invest in a more popular expensive brand. I would recommend this case to my dj's because its affordable. In Delaware we dont have much selection, I bought the case i use for my amp for $129. Paid more than I should. I'm satisfied with my purchase, bought a power conditioner at the same time to get free shipping.
Features
The great thing about this case the front and back flaps are held together by velcro instead of zippered shut. In my mind velcro lasts much longer than zippers. The bad... It does not come with rack mount screws for mounting your equipment. Be sure to buy mounting screws when you purchase this case. It uses 10/32 size screws. There's two different standard sizes for rackmount screws, 10/32 and 12/24. Make sure you get 10/32 size screws. I was really upset when i found out the case doesnt come with screws. Never before have i seen a rackmount case not come with mounting screws. The space you get in the front is 2.25in (measured myself for you). Thats plenty of room to keep my antennas attached to my wireless mic receiver at all times.
Ease of Use
Love that its a rolling case. My first rolling case. This is my first one, it holds my wireless mic, mixer, and power condition/surge protector, and soon my BBE Sound Maximizer. I have another case just for my amp. That case can sit on top of this one one. I wouldnt put much more weight on it though.
Quality
The screws inside of the case that hold the rackmount rails up wasnt tight enough. A quick tighten fixed that problem. The case does what it's supposed to do - protects my equipment. I do wish the pocket on the side was twice as big
Value
The most affordable roller case. The reason i bought it was because of the price. The extremely cheap price makes up for the missing screws. Screws cost me $3.00, no big worries. You get what you paid for.
Manufacturer Support
the website kaces.com doesnt offer a support section. i was looking for screws and info on the proper size screws. The item is no longer listed on the product page
The Wow Factor
It's not a gator. There are better cases out there. But you'll be paying for an investment. I just want to organize my new equipment affordably
