Sounds great! Good lows and clear highs
Features
Built-in quartz pickup, connects to amp directly. No pre-amp inside the guitar means it does not require a battery. But the drawback is you need to use a high-impedence amp or DI box, otherwise it will sound too sharp and has to be EQ'ed. Most guitar amps proably won't need a lot of EQ, but an amp with FET input would be more desirable.

i chose this item originally for the price and for the ovation quality...i thought it was worth the risk buying online (cant see/feel before u buy) and i am way pleased...
