These monitors are really nice for a bedroom/ semi-pro studio setup. I have used Kali LP6 monitors before and these hold up to those quite nicely. Having a passive right speaker is nice cause it cuts down on the amount of cables you normally need. The size of the speakers is great if you are planning on leaving them on you desk, and the overall sound quality is good for getting a accurate reference while mixing/recording. 2 critiques I have are that the cable to connect the speakers together is not the best quality and kind of flimsy at the connection point, making me worried about it falling out (also the cable is kind of short), and the second is that the bass frequency range is not best, these are 4.5" speakers so its to be expected but just be aware of that going in and adjust for it. Overall, I am very happy with these and will be using them for a while.

Whether you're looking for a secondary pair of reference monitors as an amateur/professional, a first pair as a beginner, or even just a nice pair for your turntables in a casual listening environment, look no further. These dudes are incredible - I do not understand how Kali were able to equip these things with such an accurate sonic image in such a small package for such a low price. Not to mention they have built in EQ compensation, AND they're BLUETOOTH capable??? They're perfect. I can't imagine anything coming close to touching them in this price range. I've been a professional mixing/recording engineer for coming up on 10 years, and I'm genuinely considering the possibility that these end up translating better than my Adam A7X's at this point. I don't know that that's actually the case, but this should tell you how impressed I am with the sonic representation these dudes are bringing to the table. I would absolutely purchase these again and would recommend them to anyone, across the board.
