This is a great little mic stand. It feels like a higher-quality piece of gear than most of the "On Stage" brand stands I've owned. This thing is tiny, which makes it the perfect size for micing a kick or guitar combo without it getting in the way. I was slightly surprised at how small it really is when I received it, but like I said, that small stature can be helpful, especially in a home studio where you have very little room to work with, and it's built sturdy enough to handle plenty of kicking around, knocking over, etc... I highly recommend this little guy for kick drums, combo amps, and similar low-height sources that don't require a full-size boom stand.
