This pedal sounds great. You can set it to be pristine or you can set it with flutter for a subtly warbly set of repeats. The settings are very useful. Within these three knobs is a large variety of ways your signal can repeat. The repeats themselves have historically accurate tape tone, which the flutter switch can subtly modulate. I purchased this pedal because I have been using a budget tape delay that had a digital filter on it that created artifacts that approximate the sound of a worn out tape machine. It sounded alright, but it was very opposite of subtle modulation. The JHS tape delay is the answer to the problem. It won't do anything with your signal that a trusted old tape delay design wouldn't do. The quality is fantastic. I don't love the all white enclosure. I understand the reason for it, but black would have suited me a bit better. People put stickers on, or so I hear, and I think that may be the way forward. I like my gear to look the part, if possible.
