I like this tremolo pedal more than the JHS Tidewater. -Right away, I was able to set it to pulse slower. I expected the toggle switch to add a harmonic, which it subtlety does but also works the same way as the plus and minus sign toggle switch on the Jam Waterfall pedal. It switches between a mild tremolo effect pedal to a stronger one. I also have the Vahlbruch opto trem pedal, this JHS Harmonic Tremolo offers more control over the rate of the pulse and it's bright, not so muffled/compressed. I really think Josh at JHS fine tuned what he didn't like about The Honeycomb, The Kodiak and the Tidewater tremolo pedals, refining the tremolo circuit over time. The apex became this one. I also have the JHS Kodiak pedal, this pedal feels smoother and the tone is brighter. A really clear sounding tremolo pedal with a versatile range. Glad I pulled the trigger on this one
