"Awesome JBL power for a great price."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Anyone who needs a fairly inexpensive set of loudspeakers that will give your crowd a reason to dance, and have people swear your hiding another subwoofer somewhere, the JBL SF-25's are a great investment!
Sound
It has a very rich & full sound to it. Clear highs and plenty of bass.
Quality
Built to last. Very sleek look to it. The internal driver titanium diaphragm is quite solid!
Value
For the price you pay for these speakers, they will blow you and your crowd away. Be sure to get a decent amp to run them, anything less and you won't know what you're missing out on!
The Wow Factor
JBL always rocks the house, and these do too!

"Price/performance - the JBL SF25 is hard to beat."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
I expect to have have many years of enjoyment from my SF25's. I'm only wishing for 2 more to that I can really, really, really shake the walls.
Sound
I have listened to many products (many were far more expensive than these)and applying a price/performance ratio, I rate the SF25's as a 10/10. I have played everything through them (classical, jazz, vocals, rock) and the sound is natural and full. Although the speaker response is stated to be 16 kHz for the high end, I don't sense that any highs are missing. The stereo imaging/3D effect is excellent. The boxes disappear and the sound is front stage. My next goal is to get 2 more for twice the fun.
Features
No accessories. Didn't expect any. Buying your own cables is fine since I want control over the quality.
Quality
The overall external quality is very good. I would have expected some protective corners but JBL chose not to include any. The quality of the carpet seems good and the cabinets are solid. I am not opposed to JBL using a medium density fiber board for the box construction. I suppose plywood would hold up better if you drop them off the back of a truck, but I prefer the superior acoustic properties of quality fiber board. As far as the internal quality (speakers and crossover), I expect JBL to live up to its reputation of offering high quality products regardess of the price range.
Value
Fantastic value. There are so many more expensive systems out there but JBL has a winner with the SF25. I'm glad I found it. And no, I don't work for JBL or sell their products.
Manufacturer Support
I have not had to use their support services but every dealer I spoke with deals with JBL because of its quality products and limited concerns over service so I will take their word for it.
The Wow Factor
With the full metal grill just barely hiding the double 15's, the SF25 is a great looking speaker. It is not overly large (only 43" high), so it blends in well.
