"JBL MP255S"
I was so pleased with the open thunder of these that I eventually sourced 4 pairs so as to assemble a rig capable of moving serious air in bikers rally week end events. Given the size they are shaped well for even 1 sturdy person to manage loading in to a van hence I would rate the ease of use surprisingly good.
I use the JBL MR825/925 as tops with these subs as there are plenty of them in circulation at reasonable money and should be found if patient The 2416 horns in the MR range are compact, excelent quality fairly robust and I would put them ahead of the TR and JRX range.

"Low End Bass That Hurts"
Bought a pair of these jbl mp255's that were on clearance, powered by 2 qsc 2450's bridged at 4 ohms is 2400 watts each!! The adjustments on the amps were bridged and 50hz and half way gain.
Sound
Sound quality is great, as mentioned these subs can hit 139db, have had many complements on the sound quality.
Features
The wheels on the back help mobility since these cabs are heavy and also the speakon ins and outs when linking them together with one amp.
Ease of Use
Ease of use, set up within 5 minutes
Quality
Product is made with quality cross over, speakers, carpet, wheels, wood, metal and plastic.
Value
great value 2 15" subs. Other single powered speakers are at this price point.
Manufacturer Support
I havnt had to contact them, the product under goes strict testing before they release it.
The Wow Factor
These speakers can make china cabinets rattle, a laundry basket fall off counters, pictures in the bathroom fall off, shake the bathroom in a 2 story house and a dislocated rib for a month has my WOW factor.

"JBL'S EARTHQUAKE BOX!"
I WILL NEVER LONG FOR A BETTER SOUNDING CAB. YOU JUST CAN'T GET BETTER THAN THIS, I'VE HERD ALL DIFFERENT SUBS....CERWIN VEGA,MACKIE,COMMUNITY,YAMAHA,OR WHATEVER THEY HAVE IN THE SHOW ROOM AT THE TIME, BUT THESE JEWELS WILL ALWAYS BE NUMBA ONE!
Sound
well i can't say enough about this sub, driven by the qsc rmx 2450 i'm puttin 750 in at 4 ohms and it sounds suprisingly strong even at the highest of spl....(sound pressure level). yes of course when you push these bad boys to the limit you may feel a little light headed because these things have broken 2 of my windows already. best bang for the buck.....anywhere!!!!!
Features
everythings is vesatile about this sub, you can lay it down for even more heart renching bass!
Quality
you could drop this thing from the top of my house and it would probably survive with no rattleing in the box!!
Value
no better sub for six hundred!
Manufacturer Support
in the middle of a dilema that i caused!
The Wow Factor

"FAIRLY DECENT PRO SUB"
Verified Customer
zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
Sound
This is a fairly decent sub.
Ive found it to perform better at 100hz or below at high SPL
I typically cross these over at 80hz so I can drive them harder
I would not recomend using these without an active xover.
The series inductor on this cab xovers at 300hz with a 6db per
octave slope (first order passive)
This allows way to much mid range through the sub and you can
smokem alot easier with this high xover point
Obviously they are not EAW but they do a fairly decent job for the cost.

"The JBL goes BOOOOOOM very very well."
I think this product outdoes the Mackie 18" Powered Sub anyday....this sub has very powerful 15" subs in it that hit very hard. Despite the heavy weight, its still one of the best subs i have ever heard. I would recommend it to anybody that wants a very powerful addition to their setup.
Sound
Has a nice deep sound. It can also get pretty loud. Worth every dollar. Sounds awesome when paired with the Crown CE2000 amp... they have similiar clipping points.
Features
I haven't had to transport it yet, but its wheels are helpful.
Quality
Very solid structure. Has a great look. Easy to hook up and use.
Value
Worth every SINGLE PENNNY. Again, when used with one channel on the CE2000, its a perfect match.
Manufacturer Support
I haven't had to use support yet
The Wow Factor
has a good BOOM
