I have multiple speakers from JBL. I have PartyBox encore, PRX 812, Charge 6 and have had ZERO ISSUES with any of them. I bought these hopeful that the JBL name wouldn’t disappoint, and I was wrong. These are underpowered, highs are tinny and take over the entire sound. The subs are only 8” and the bass is laughable at best. The party box encore only has a 5.25” sub and pounds. Was hoping for the same with these. Extremely disappointing. To have a decent volume they were almost maxed out and just sounded poorly. I feel like the listing for the speakers is very deceiving and promotes this as a room filling speaker for small to medium venues… this couldn’t fill my small basement room. Hard to believe this is a JBL. Sucks that I have to pay for return shipping on a subpar product that was promoted as just the opposite.
