First, thank you zZounds for honoring your price match policy. The offer made it almost impossible to pass up buying this soundbar now. Received in 2 days, happy as always. Now, the soundbar. Let's just say if I set the sub beyond half output, my neighbors will not be happy. Upgraded to this from my 8yr old LG which had a 6" 150w sub, what a diff. While my LG still worked like new, I just felt it was time to upgrade, especially once I got the price match offer. My 6" 150w sub had more than enough output for a 1,000 Sq. ft. apartment, using the corner in the living room helped boost it's output, but it was bought new when I bought my previous TV. Upgraded to 4k about a yr ago, figured I'd upgrade the audio. While I considered going with a full setup, floor standing speakers, center, & sub, 7.2 receiver, I just didn't think it was a good idea w/ neighbors close by. Hence the JBL.Anyone w/ questions, debating on buying the Bar 5.1, feel confident in purchasing one. The soundbar itself has crisp, clean, clear sound. I've tested it w/ basic no frills movies, TV shows, as well as a couple diff movies w/ heavy usage of surround, any of the newer Star Trek movies work great for this. While it drove my cat nuts looking for the reflecting sounds, the audio watching movies is great. With the sub set at 3, it has plenty of bottom end for movies, as well as music too. While some may want it louder, depending on room size, 3 seems to be the sweet spot for the sub. The sound you hear while the soundbar calibrates itself might catch ya off guard the first time, be sure you run the calibration once you have everything setup how you want it. For optimal sound, it's rather important.Quick word of advice for ppl having issues getting the best sound out of the sub, place the sub where you would normally sit to watch a movie, toss in a good surround movie, or your preferred music, & move around the room yourself to find the optimal spot to put your sub. It beats the hell out of moving the sub all over. For an average to bigger apartment, this soundbar is a perfect fit. But, for houses w/ a bigger living room, depending on your audio taste, you may want more bottom end. Personally, for a larger room, I would add a second sub, & wish companies like JBL, Klipsch, Polk, had this option, allowing ppl to purchase multiple subs for soundbar setups, 9 out of 10 times, poor bottom end is what ppl complain about w/ soundbar setups. For an apartment though, this JBL package is perfect. While the remote is about as simple as it gets, & quite small, it does the job. Luckily most cable, or TV remotes can be programmed to operate this. Cuz the included remote is easy to lose.Hooking up wifi, adding it to your home network, & using BT, all pretty simple. I recommend getting the full manual from the JBL site, it makes things much easier. At any rate. With crisp, clean soundbar output, solid, thundering bottom end for movies, nice tight bottom end for music, as well as simple controls, & easy hookup options, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone living in an apartment setting, or a house with an average 10x15ft living room. It has plenty of bottom end you can feel.As usual, zZounds was full on A+++ w/ everything!Have a Happy New Year all!

Nice sound. However, this is not 550 watts! Maybe 150 watts tops!

Sounds great, but it isn't 5.1! There aren't any rear speakers with this, so how is it considered 5.1?
