Saw this model a while back. Was intrigued. But unsure. After watching online reviews it really grew on me. Total spontaneous buy. Totally happy. This guitar is beautifully crafted, sounds and plays amazing. Great sound versatility as well. For the price it's a steal!

This is an all-around great guitar for the money. I had it for about three months and the only thing I changed was the bridge from a FR special to a FR 1000. It's not a really necessary upgrade, it's just the 1000's are easier to use.
Sound
I have it tuned to Eb with DR tite fit 9-42. It sounds and feels good. I want to bump it up to Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky 9-46 to see how it handles the semi thicker bass strings.
Features
I love Jackson's neck specs. 24 jumbo frets, 12"-16" compound radius fretboard, graphite reinforcement rods.Very sturdy.
Ease of Use
This guitar is very playable.
Quality
Every Jackson I've ever owned was made very well. No complaints.
Value
Pretty much, yeah. There are other options, but this one is good, too.
Manufacturer Support
Never had to deal with them personally.
The Wow Factor
It's a neck through soloist with great pickups and a pretty good Floyd Rose for $700. It's also easily upgradable if you'd be inclined to do so.

Musical Background:

Eight or nine years

Musical Style:

Mainly thrash metal and death metal.
