I want to start off by saying the only con i have found with this instrument and that is the set up..when i received the guitar it was so out of whack it was pretty much unplayable, that being said, after adjusting the neck and a few little tweaks i am extremely happy with the way this guitar sounds and plays. The action is very low, the neck is thin and fast, and the single coil pickups are very clear and bring a clarity to each string that i was really surprised by. I've owned over a dozen good quality guitars with this similar body style (esp 1000, ibanez egen8, fenders, other jacksons) but i have to say this plays better than anything i've played in years and maybe ever. I looked around a while before i decided to get it and decided on this guitar for the features and price. I have to say i'm not disappointed at all and don't think i could've found a guitar i liked any better even if i paid over 1,000..I purchased the orange and when people say it's brighter than the pics they are telling the truth..it's about the color of a construction cone..I love it and would recommend this guitar to anyone who plays rock
