Out of the box it wasnt great.had some fret buzz.after a few minor adjustments this thing rips.its very lightweight which I was concerned about. seing as I'm used to a lp and a dean dime.after plugging it in I was sold.this thing is a monster with a proper setup.i wasnt happy that there was some kinda schmutz built up in the tremolo like something was spilled on it.but not that big a deal.

This guitar is a weapon! It looks beautiful and plays great. The Seymour Duncan Blackouts are perfect for metal, and I was surprised at how good they sounded clean as well. Giving it 4 stars only because I will be upgrading the special Floyd.

"Jackson X RRX24"
Guitar arrived relaxed and required trus rod adjustment and claw fix. Once the fretboard was flat, I started the tuning process with the fixed nut loose. Getting close, I locked down the fixed nut(not too tight) and checked string heights. Pretty close. Then continued fine tuning. I left the guitar for a day. Went back and picked up where I left off. This time fine tuning starting at G D B A E E. Next day fine tuning and string height continued. Then worked on intonation. I know I didn't go into too much detail here, but this is the method I use and the results are worth the effort. The guitar "lights up" in drop D ! Very pleased with the performance of this noise machine !

Bought this guitar in the beginning of quarantine. Have been shredding it ever since. It’s lightweight but packs a monster sound. The neck is by far my favorite part. Super fast. One of the pick up screws had a burr that scratched my hand but this was an easy and cheap thing to fix ($2). Highly recommend. zZounds is the best too, super fast shipping and awesome customer service. Give their sales guys a call you won’t be disappointed.
