Jackson KVX10 King V Electric Guitar

The Jackson KVX10 King V has plenty of rock and roll attitude. With Duncan Designed pickups, the Jackson KVX10 King V sounds fantastic too.

This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
Ive been playing metal for 8 years now. I play this guitar through a boss metal zone pedal to a peavey bandit 112 75watt solid state amp. the sound is so brutal, especially with the new pickup change. now im truly satisfied with the sound it provides.
Sound
if you are a intermediate to advance player, you'll definitely want to change it's pickups. duncan designed stocks are just regular pickups. if you want a killer sound, better get stronger ones like EMGs, Seymour Duncan or DiMarzios. I put a DiMarzio X2N in the bridge position and my guitar roars like a beast now.
Features
24 frets, licensed floyd rose bridge, sharkfin inlays, killer V style, 2 humbuckers, volume and tone switch, pickup selector.. i think there's nothing else i need in a guitar.
Ease of Use
the neck plays so fast, i can now shred without any problems.. the only problem i found is the position of input jack, you can't play it seated or your connector will pinch your leg. but anyway... who would want to play a V seated?
Quality
the finish is excellent, very well setup. only the swtiches were loose. had to tighten them up with a screwdriver.
Value
its very cheap if you consider all the features it brings. and its made in japan. not from china which has worse product quality.
Manufacturer Support
never dealt with them yet
The Wow Factor
it's been my dream of owning one of these for a long time. it looks so cool when you play it.

I will use and love this thing for years to come.
Sound
The sound it great. With a good amp or pedals you would never know that the pickups were Duncan Designed(ok maby) but for stock pickups are great. You can always switch them out for something you like.
Features
It has everything that I need 1Vol 1Tone and a 3 way switch. Very simple and great. The tremelo is amazing I don't know if I got luck on mine but it NEVER goes out of tune. I tune it about once a month.
Ease of Use
Its so easy People always say playing sitting down is hard but its not they don't know what there talking about. The input jack is in a bad spot that pokes your leg but you can always get a cable with a L.
Quality
Its a Jackson so its built to quality. The Blue swirl is amazing the sharkfang inlays are dead sex. I would def use this guitar on stage(If I played live)
Value
I think it could go for more, if you put some good pickups in it. It would be like a pro series jackson.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't had to use it but im sure its great
The Wow Factor
Every time I look at it I wanna put it off my wall and start playing it.

"Buy this guitar! If you're looking for a new guitar that plays good, looks good, and has excellent performance, this is th"

I could easily use this product for years either until it breaks or until I get a custom model guitar for myself.
Sound
The sound from this guitar is excellent, and surpasses anything else i've ever used. Stage pressenc with this guitar would definitally be excellent as well. With a Marshall DFX amplifier it sounds completely stunning.
Ease of Use
This guitar makes high speed playing easy, the fretboard is so smooth and doing pinch harmonics are easier then anything. This guitar just makes playing easier.
Quality
The guitar underwent obvious care when it was being made, it's of the highest quality, ofcourse it could be better, because nothing's perfect, it's not neck through but it still plays awsome!
Value
This product is well worth the price listed, most guitars you see are overpriced, but this one could easily be worth more.
The Wow Factor

"The king of V's"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Overall it is amazing guitar nice everything, but the only cons is the pickups and the problem to reach higher frets everthing else is great.
Sound
It has an awesome sound with just the stock pickups, but if you put some emg's on there itd be ther best guitar out there.
Features
I love the cobalt blue swirl design its so unique and tie die looking. Also the tremelo never takes the guitar oout of tune so you never ever have to tune it.
Ease of Use
Its so fast and fun to play, and it lookes cool. :)
Quality
Well its really hard to reach the upper frets of the neck but other then that it perfect.
Value
It should be more expensive then it is its soooo nice and i would pay 1000$ for this guitar.
Manufacturer Support
Havent had to deal with the company yet, but jackson takes pride in all of there guitars so i have no doubt the support is good.
The Wow Factor
Everything about it is awesome.

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars

Overall I'm very pleased with the guitar.I would recommend it to anyone looking for a name brand ,fast playing, and good looking guitar. The reasons this is getting a 9 is because nothings perfect, yet it almost is!
Sound
The sound is amazing. Not much more they can do to it.
Features
Standard hardware, but the neck is very sturdy.Good for playing fast.
Ease of Use
Very easy to use.I've played every chance I got and my other guitar is just waiting for a turn.
Quality
Seems like jackson has a reputation of loose nobs.
Value
If your looking for a guitar that has everything ,then the value is set right.I have the Blue Swirl and I have to tell you its the best guitar I've had.
Manufacturer Support
Havent needed them yet.
The Wow Factor
When I saw this guitar compared to others on the site ,it just spoke to me and said," Please take me home" .HEHE

Sound
I play this guitar with Boss MT-2 metalzone. Im not sure what more u can ask from this guitar.. With just one pedal I get sounds like Metallica or Dimu Borgir or Pantera...
Features
The wood isnt that solid the guitar is light but rather than this everything else is excellent
Ease of Use
The neck is fast and leggatos or tapping sound loud cause of the big fat frets
Quality
The guitar is way too easy to scratch . the paintjob isnt good at all
The Wow Factor
Its a V !
