"pretty cool, not the pickups though..."

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
I built a guitar after a DK2 style Jackson and it has the same specs as a DK2, but with an EMG81 and 85. The sound from these single coils just didn't seem to match along with the humbucker. They are duncan designed for a reason... DD = crap. if you buy this guitar, plan to replace the pickups asap. I would suggest some real seymour duncans because they have some sexy sound. The problem that i had with these pickups was the crackling noise when i used much distortion.
Features
Floyd Rose was really hot. I learned all of my wammy bar tricks on this thing until i sold it off. If the sound was better i would have been happier, but instead i sent it back to the guy and said, "thanks buddy, but i hate the sound."
Quality
Played like crazy. I had the hotrod finish... but i'd take black or a solid color over it any day.
Value
Good value
Manufacturer Support
I hate Fender so much.

"The best guitar"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
It's going to be a long time before I look into a search of a new guitar. I would probubly put a few new things on it like take off the bridge pickup which has duncan pickups and I'm going to replace them for EMG-81 humbuckers.I would probably keep it but I'm not sure yet. Well this is the best guitar that I've had so it beats all the rest of the guiatrs I've had.
Sound
This guitar is a very nice guitar but it all depends on the type of music you want it for. I think of this guitar as a heavy metal guitar or rock but it is for many other styles also. But i use it for hardcore and heavy metal music.
Features
The parts i like on this guitar is the whammybar. It gives the sound a good squeal.
Quality
This product is made very well there's nothing like it that i have ever played before. There can be loose parts in it because the bridge is very sensitive becaus of the floyed rose tremolo you need to be careful of the string weight and size. I can depend on this guitar, I trust it. This guitar will last for the rest of my life.
Value
It is all worth the money. It is very cheap.
Manufacturer Support
I have never needed to contact the company for problems.
The Wow Factor
It is very well designed nothing there is nothing like it.

"Great sounding. Great value. Fun to play."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
Great sound and fun to play. I have a CE24 PRS and a Les Paul (both great guitars) but I get a brighter and more penetrating lead with this less expensive guitar. I had the guitar set up in about 45 minutes and then played it for almost 3 hours straight. I was very surprised at the quailty I received for such a low price.
Quality
This guitar is not a "USA" made instrument but it is quality made. There are a few details that are not as good as the higher priced Jacksons but for the money, you won't find a better guitar.

"A VERY GOOD INVESTMENT!!!!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
VERY reliable guitar and i can really take a beating.
Sound
the sound of this guitar is great for the price. it's a dinky body so the tone with no amlification is a little hurt but its an electric guitar so why would you use it with no amp? the pickups are nice, i havent had any problems with them, however i think I'm going to invest in an EMG 81 to really beef up the sound.
Features
the features are pretty nice. it has 1 volume and 1 tone knob as well as a 6-position switch to change between pickups.
Quality
It came to me in perfect condition, fully assembled. the only problem i've had with it is the allen screws that lock the nut have broken on me a couple of times when i was tightening down on the strings.
Value
the best guitar by far in this price range.
Manufacturer Support
VERY GOOD!!!!
The Wow Factor
i got it didn't i
