"At Last, a Jackson That a Mom Would Let Her Kids Around"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
For the price, I decided to have another Jackson. God forbid it got stolen, but I would replace it immediately! Please don't stop making these guitars!
Sound
I love the sound immensely! The pickups had the bite I was looking for! The pickups are poor man's EMG's! I like the clean sound this guitar gets.
Features
I love the slim neck! If you're looking for an Ibanez style neck paired up with a killer design even your Mom will love (like my Mom did), this thing is just what you're looking for. The only thing I don't like about this guitar is that the jack is on the bottom half of the cutaway, which, to me, makes the cord too obvious. Fix it, Jackson, and I'll buy another!
Quality
For the price, the quality is by far the best. This thing rarely goes out of tune, and I'm a heavy-handed plater. Nice paint job, too.
Value
Jackson quality for the price of a sorry pawn shop copy!
Manufacturer Support
No problems here.
The Wow Factor
As soon as I picked up this guitar, tried the neck, heard the sound, saw the price, I knew this guitar was looking for me!

"best v"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
it rules.
Sound
this guitar rules it sunds metal enough for me. I play a lot of megadeth and testament and this guitar gives enough grind for both band . for testament solos this guitar rules for megadeth too. I do a lot of sweeping and this guitar is perfect for that. I would also recomend to put some duncan hot rodded pickups on this for an even better sound but dont be worried it sounds killer without them too. so hurry up and buy it.
Features
it would be cool if it had sharkfin inlays but i barely care because they charge you $170 more for them and it wont change your sound.
Quality
no problems affect your tone or sound .
Value
best v for the price

"So good you should stab someone with it. "

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
when i buy this i wouldn't settle for anything else but a Rhoads V. I've always been particularly fond of its shape and style but the sharp, pointed ends make the peice look a lot more aggressive.
Sound
the sound of the product was unbeleivable. the fretboard was almost too comfortable to play on. The guitar is great for anything metal or rock. I play metal and my first choice for my guitar would be this one because it could climb up and down the fretboard with ease and precision.
Features
With this guitar, it had duncan designed pickups that got to job done. I wired it through a Laney 120 watt amplifier, and the guitar was well suited with the sound.
Ease of Use
It was almost too easy to get great sound from the product. it is very playable and the looks kill people when youre on center stage with it.
Quality
the product is made quite well and the fineshes are breathtaking. Ive use a metallic red and a metallic blue v and it will not be long before i order my own.
Value
this guitar has almost impossible bang for the buck. I saw it being sold in a music store for $660. *gulp*
Manufacturer Support
i have not bought this product...yet.
The Wow Factor
I would consider this guitar a neccesity for all lead metal players who are in a band and a active musician, if your just a hobbyist and just play for fun, don't take a step up to this. I would kill for this peice of equipment

"Headbangers"

This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
Features
The guitar has an excellent hold so you can pound on this strings for hours and they won't come untuned (at least, that's my experience with them).
Quality
"Is the product made well?" It's a Jackson! It's used by Kerry King of Slayer! Of course it's made well. It's sturdy and I believe I can through it through walls and it'll still be fine. The finish is excellent and it's fit is perfect.
Value
Yes it is. I think it's better than a bargain

"Be Carefull around those Sharp Edges ;) "

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I am really satisfied, but i have played better guitar(for a much higher price). The price and value are really good. I recommend this guitar to anyone playing for 1 to 3 years.
Sound
Very good sound if you are playing through a good amp. I play Metal and it's just awesome. Very good pickups for a low price.
Features
I like the body and shape very much, but i wish it had a floyd rose on it. And also some pearl sharkfin inlays. (I will probably end up getting a Custom Made Jackson)
Quality
It was constructed very well. The finish is just perfect with no scratches and no bangs. I use it on the road and i dont worry at all. This guitar will last me really long.
Value
This is an amazing value. For the price is just awesome.
The Wow Factor
Haha. The ladies love the Dark Metallic red. It's just really sexy and appealing to the eye.

Features
best looking design i have ever known from a guitar brand. jackson has it all in every category. flying v is my absolute fav. though!
Quality
this guitar like i said before is just plain awesome and i wouldnt think that any guitar brand could be able to design a better looking guitar!
Value

"(Still the thrash)King-V"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful.
I would never replace this one even though i'm really looking for a guitar with a Kahler Tremolo.
Sound
This guitar is perfect for thrash/ speed-metal (soloing). It will also get real close to if not exact, the same sound that Dave Mustaine has. I would definantly use this live for reasons that it can take a beating (dont slam it on anything), it shows whos boss on stage, and for easy soloing.
Features
It's a great guitar but Jackson could have put some EMG's on it then you'd have some screamin' solos.
Ease of Use
Very good instrument it's very easy to move around the neck. I had no trouble while using it.
Quality
This guitar like any other can be chipped or scratched if you're not careful, but it's very reliable on stage. I'd have 2 for the sake of having a mint condition one to make ppl jealous.
Value
It would be worth the price if it had either seymore duncan or EMG pickups.
Manufacturer Support
I have not yet needed any changes whatsoever on this guitar.
The Wow Factor
I'd give it a 30 for this. When you walk on stage with this guitar everyone immediately knows that hell is coming their way.

"Buy This Guitar!!!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Overall, for the price its teh best in it's class. I recommend this guitar if ur into metal well that's all folks latez
Sound
This guitar is perfect for a beginning guitarist. The sound on it is nice (especially if ur running it on a Marshall amp =) and a digitech pedal) The quality is great. Ive dropped it a few times and still plays like it did when i took it out of the box. If ur looking to perfect ur solo-ing i recommend this guitar. For the price u pay not only is this guitar affordable but u can get all the girls attention with it too =P
Features
Everything is good but i sure do wish tehy would've added a whammy bar. That would have made it the perfect "bang for ur buck"
Quality
It is built to last. As ive said before this guitar has gone through abuse now (1 year that weve been married) and still works like a charm.
Value
Compared to other guitar i say dont get this one if ur into punk oir lighter stuff. This is meant for metal!!!
Manufacturer Support
I havent had to take it in to the shop so i wouldnt know...
The Wow Factor
With the wings on it omg it just makes me wanna shred the sh*t out of those strings!!!!
