This thing is pretty amaizng for what it is. I only wish it was made out of something stronger than plastic. Something like the way Apogee makes their products. Having said that, I've had it for over a year and it has held up for home use. The best feature I use this for is connecting my guitar to the Nano Amp to my iPad and the Nano Amp to my 1x10 Panama Boca external speaker cabinet. Then I use the iOS app for iPad from IKM Amplitude. It can also function as a nano amp by itself but the built in speaker is to small to sound good. The only thing I use that feature for is testing a guitar out when buying from Craigslist. Finally, you can also hook up the Nano Amp to an external speaker cabinet and use the Nano Amps built in distortion but the built in speaker is to small to sound good. Having said that if I didn't have an external speaker makes it hard to like.

I bought this to use with my iPad and Panama 10" Speaker Cab. I run my iPad into the Nano Amp and run the out of the Nano to the Speaker Cab. Using the Amplitude Soldano amp sim sounds so good. The built in speaker sounds pretty thin and crappy but hey it's a tiny speaker. I only use the built in speake when I buy guitars off Craigslist and I want to try them out. I would have paid a few bucks more for a metal housing but like most IK products they go with plastic.
