Ibanez has really done a great job with this amp!
Sound
Very clean amp, appropriately voiced for playing straight ahead Jazz and capable of getting very nice jazz sounds from your jazz box or a solid body.
Features
The pass filter in conjunction with the tone stack allows a very good range of tones allowing a nice range of classic jazz tones. The reverb is nice sounding and the chorus is useable while not of the depth of a Roland JC-120, still a decent inclusion. The volume control for the line in is great for mp3 backing tracks or Aebersold play along. The 15" speaker sounds great.
Ease of Use
This is a very simple amp. Turn the master all the way up and keep the gain down to keep the sound clean. I suggest you start with all tone stack controls and the pass filter (aka tone knob) at 12 o'clock.
Quality
My amp came well finished and undamaged. The ports are tightly installed and I found no obvious construction flaws. Time will tell on everything else but if this amp retains the sound it has now then I am super pleased.
Value
I think this amp represents a great value when you start comparing JC 120's and Polytone prices.

The Wow Factor
The appeal is the voicing of this amp. It has a nice sound much like polytones and other good jazz amps. My teacher has numerous high end amps including Acoustic Research and he was very pleased with the sound. I am not sure I would want this for a gigging amp because of the bulk, I use it in my practice room so I have only carried it upstairs one time.

Love the 15" Speaker and only wish it had 150 watts, I had to pre-amp for a boost!I really like the size, weight and fits in my trunk with lots of room for my guitar, gig bag and music stands! Next release need to add some watts!
