This is not a traditional uke. The iceman is unique and lots of folks probably won't like it. But I was longing for one that was out of the ordinary. I found it in this uke. Out of the box it was playable. Fit and finish was flawless. It sounds good unplugged but it really shines when plugged in. The electronics are great and the onboard tuner is spot on. It's fun to play, which I've done constantly since I received it
