Quality and tone are great. The neck is impressive. Feels and looks very similar in quality to the neck on my Ibanez AZ24, which cost literally 4x as much as this bass. I've also been able to get a nice variety of tones out of it. Couldn't be happier with what I got. I keep forgetting how inexpensive it was too. Very happy!

This bass is amazing for the price!! you get a 5 string P bass with a great jazz pickup as well, active or passive modes, treble, bass, volume, pup select, and treb/bass for passive. the neck is gorgeous!!! the neck feels so good to play, people have said that this has neck dive, but let me tell you it does not, it falls about even and when you rest your arm on the body to play with your plucking hand you wont even notice it, i have no issue at all with this bass, i cant wait to jam with full band with it! Again, the pickups and electronics are just that good!! in passive mode the pickups sing nice and loud and give you as much warmth as you want, but turn the treble and they start getting as obnocious as you want if youre that kind of player, everything in the middle as well, a great bass for every style, dial in what you want and GO!! The active EQ just lets you shape the sound a little further for your style and taste! You cannot go wrong for $549.99, Ibanez nailed it with this bass!! Sorry zZounds, i try to be loyal, but i didnt buy it here, but i always check here first!!
