Ibanez SZ320MH Electric Guitar
The Ibanez SZ320MH mahogany guitar is a descendent of the super-slim Ibanez S models, but it really is an all-new - and simpler - species. The SZ features a set-in neck, which provides greater sustain and easier upper register playing. The slightly thicker SZ body adds to its big, fat tone. The fast, 25.1 in. scale SZ neck on these guitars is slightly thicker than the Wizard neck, and just as flat for accurate playability.

"Worth twice the price"

I will probably keep this guitar until my fingers wear out. My G&L is now collecting dust. If this guitar ever got stolden, I would want to replace it with the same guitar. I cannot see how anyone would not be happy with this ax
Sound
This guitar is awesome. Great sustain, great tone. Better that most guitars twice the price
Features
This is basically a straight nuts and bolts guitar without the bells and whisels. It was designed well, and plays great, and those are to two most important features for any guitar
Quality
you can not even tell where the neck joins the body, inlays are clean and small, all controls work smoothly, no dead spots
Value
I have owned and played guitars over twice the price and this guitar holds its own with the best of them. Probably one of the 5 best guitars under $1000
Manufacturer Support
gave them a 10 cause I have never used support and NA was not a choice
The Wow Factor
Rubbed oil look on mahogeny gives the guitar a real clean look, not as heavy as you would think but with all of the rich sound and sustain you would expect from a solid neck mahogeny guitar

"Bad bridge ruins a great sounding guitar"
The poorly designed bridge makes all the positive qualities of this guitar irrelevant.
Sound
Very good tone; very thick with a great distorted bridge pickup sound, but there is a problem. The bridge seems to vibrate sympathetically when you play very hard, and you can actually hear through an amp a whining sound coming from the bridge. There is another very serious problem, and for this reason I am returning the guitar for a refund. The bridge is shaped in such a way that you cannot palm mute as well on this guitar as on most other guitars. At the point of contact between the string and bridge, there is a large curved piece of metal sticking up that forces your palm away and does not allow you to actually mute the string right where it contacts the guitar. This is a deal-breaking design flaw, and I cannot understand why anyone who palm mutes would want this style of bridge.
Features
Simple guitar. If these are the features you want, then they are fine.
Quality
Very well built, seems to stay in tune ok.
