This bass doesn’t have any right sounding as good as it does at this price point. The active eq and humbuckers really set it apart. I’m mainly a guitarist. I needed a bass, but I don’t play enough to spend $1k on it, and I’m not buying the $200 one either. This is perfect at this price. It would be an amazing first bass that would take you though years of learning. But for my uses, it couldn’t be better. Very thick, heavy low end, and the eq allows you to adjust bass mids and high how you see fit. Plus, it’s the lightest guitar I own, plays great, and looks badass. I’m happy with my choices.
