This is an excellent pedal - great build quality and an amazing range of tones, a steal for the price. You can get classic Sonic Distortion tones, boosted Marshall or anything in between. The mid and gain switches are genius all at a price less than a SD9 by a different brand.

To start off with, I was searching for slight distortion and/or a gain boost. This pedal exceeded those expectations by ten fold. I wish I hadn't returned the pedal, but I ended up not needing it. (Big ups to Zzounds for everything from ordering and returns) You can achieve an immense array of sounds out of device. It would make a great main distortion pedal for virtually any pedal board, in any guitar application; possibly even bass.
