"If you ever see this guitar, f-ing buy it."

I expect to be satisifed with this guitar until the day I die. I would never consider getting rid of it. It is one of the finest instruments I've ever played, and we should all be so lucky. I wouldn't hesitate to supplement my collection with more S series models, though. What I like most about it is the bubinga. It's a beautiful finish and adds to the character of the guitar. What I like least is the width of the neck. It was adeparture from the Strat neck I am familiar with, but I got used to it pretty quickly.
Sound
IT's fitted with Ibanez Quantum 1 & 2 humbucking pickups. They have great low-end chunk and searing highs.
Features
Ibanez spares no expense on the Prestige models. It came with the standard allen keys, trem arm, trem snaps, etc., but also came with integrated Grover strap locks.
Quality
This guitar is extremely well made. Again, the Prestige models get a little bit more presonal treatment than the flagship production run models. Quality control is top-notch; it was made in Japan and arrived already in tune, set up with a set of .9s.
Value
I would have gladly paid retail for this instrument, but I got it on sale. For an S series Prestige with a bubinga top and Wizard II neck, $1,000 or higher is exactly what it should sell for.
Manufacturer Support
I haven't had to contact Ibanez for anything. I registered the guitar for the warranty at their website but that was it. But if I ever have to contact them, I can't imagine that their customer support would be shotty. It'd probably reflect the quality of their instruments.
The Wow Factor
This guitar is a piece of ass. The bubinga top is to die for, and the quality is to kill for. I was lucky to get this guitar before it went out of production (although it's been recontinued as the S1620 w/ a ZR trem).
