So I purchased this because I never had a Ibanez before. I really wanted one with a tremolo, but didn't like the color for the same series and I figured tuning will be a bit easier. So, the finish is a natural look with the wood. There are wood pits all over the place. Smooth to the touch but raw at the same time. Neck feels great and it's relatively light in weight. I plugged into my 8100 valvestate and let me say, it took a little while to decide what tone I liked. The options are mind-blowing. The alter switch reminds me of my Seymour hyperswitch on a jackson I have. Guitar came foam wrapped in the gig bag, in a box, in another box. And it came with a book, first one I ever seen with a electric. I'll always be a Jackson guy, but this Ibanez is very impressive. You will definitely not be disappointed. Makes for a beautiful display piece on the wall when your not playing it either. 1000% happy.
