"It rocks!"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I'm extremely happy with my instrument! Definitely lets me do all I want and more. The only reason I'd buy another guitar would be to reach out of my current scale i.e. a 7-string, or for alternate tunings, and for other features like MIDI and piezo systems. This guitar totally rocks! I'd buy it many times over if I had the chance! People out there, beware of the jumbo frets though, they take a while getting used to, if you've not played on them before. I dislike the frets the most! Lack of alternate tuning is a curse with double locking systems so can't blame the product or Ibanez for that.
Sound
Excellent sonic qualities. Wood resonates well. Dimarzio Custom pickups are wonderfully designed allow for a spectrum of sound ranging from strat-like tones to 80's super strat Kramer tones, and even classic Les Paul tones. Note that good amplifiers and good cables and effects make a huge difference to the overall quality of the sound. If you use crappy equipment and a great guitar, it's going to sound crappy. At the same time, learning how to tune your amps and effects will help you realize the versatility that this instrument provides.
Features
Basswood body, Vital Silver color with matching headstock, Sharkfin Inlays on Rosewood board (Cool!), Jumbo frets (which I personally don't like at all - I prefer small frets), Edge Pro Bridge (AWESOME bridge!), and Dimarzio custom wound pickups (H-S-H) for the RG Prestige Series, Tone and Volume knobs. I wish I had 6100 or 6105 frets and two humbuckers like the higher end RG's, wishlist also wants a coil tap on the volume knob and maybe a piezo-pickup and MIDI ready system (hey that's asking for a lot!).
Ease of Use
No brainer for playing. Tuning a double locking bridge - read up. Has it's disadvantages for alternate tunings. Good manual. Very easily playable instrument. Would have been better with the 6100 or 6105 frets!
Quality
Quality's good. Hasn't let up on me yet. The finish is wearing off between the strings and the pickup selector due to the lack of a pickguard, but hey if you buy a guitar with no pickguard, you're asking for that sort of trouble.
Value
I bought it when it was about a $100 cheaper. Is a steal for that price. Lucky that I bought it when I did!
Manufacturer Support
I have needed support, but have never needed to contact Ibanez. Don't know too much about their customer support.
The Wow Factor
It's got a lot of good features and is very attractive. 6100/6105 frets and choice of custom pickups would make it a definite buy for most!

I think ill have this guitar, and play this guitar as long as it lasts.. i may buy new guitars, but thats just because i love guitars and i want different guitars to different use. so i think ill be satisfied for ever.
Sound
Every single pickup makes a special sound,, i love the sound with distortion, or clean sounded.. its awesome.!
Features
it has a edge pro tremolo.. wich is really good... the only thing thats hard is ,, how to maybe,, tune like drop-d tunings and stuff.. But.. the locking tremolo keeps the guitar tuned no matter what u do to it.!
Ease of Use
The neck is perfect.. i never held a guitar with that kind of perfect neck before.. the first time i held it i didnt expect it to be THAT perfect. but it was orgasmic.!!
Quality
What can i say. its a Prestige.. the quality is stunning.. i dont have more to say.
Value
its worth every little dollar in ur wallet. and ur bank account.
Manufacturer Support
