Bought for my daughter 11 who struggled with a smaller 6 Strings. She plays this all the time. Mandola/ Tenor banjo tuning. Chord shapes like a mandolin down a fourth. Many tuning options. Get a good capo. Only negative a few sharp edges on bridge, but and frets. Not a big problem and not unacceptable at this price.

Musical Background:

Casual home player. Guitar, mandolin

Musical Style:

Blues Folk. More Christian contemporary these daysDon’t play out

I've hot a lot of guitars from China and this is by far one of the best out of the box. Typical stuff I'm used too like the frets needing polished and the strings needing changed but over all it is great. The frets are surprisingly perfect besides needing polished. The tuners are great. The nut and saddle are both bone. Great all around.
