"In a heartbeat!!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
The ONLY reasons I bought a Takamine A/E is the "E" and the cutaway. Other than that I would have NEVER given this guitar to my daughter. It funny,....she is just as "wowwed" by it belonging to her as I was when I first got it! AWESOME instrument.
Sound
I have been VERY pleased with this instrument. I have owned it for six years and used a sound hole pickup. The finish was flawless and even now has only minor scratches. I get awesome comments from everyone who sees it! I am going to add Fishman electronics to it before I give it to my daughter. She is ecstatic! I am SO looking forward to that too even though I just bought a Takamine G Series 12 sting A/E.
Features
No accessories were present when I purchased this. My ONLY regret in buying this guitar was the lack of a pick up or electronics. Don't recall the materials used, but it looks AWESOME and get constant comments.
Ease of Use
This guitar has GREAT tone all along the neck and you get brighter sounds the closer to the bridge you play. It really rings out during the ballads I play!
Quality
I would put the quality of my guitar against any finish from any company. Ibanez stroked this one totally right! I have used this guitar on the road for the last five years.
Value
It is easily worth the asking price. I STILL do not feel cheated at the price I paid.
Manufacturer Support
I have needed zero repairs and have had zero issues with this guitar. I KNEW it was only acoustic and thus added the sound hole pick up.
The Wow Factor
I have LOVED this guitar and should my daughter EVER desire to sell it, she will have to offer it to ME first! I would take it back in a heart beat. Nice to have 2 guitars, 1 for home, 1 for church!

"beautiful, sweet, sound..."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
every guitar i own is an ibanez, and the drums i used to play were tama. i've not had any major issues with the company concerning any of the instruments i play/have played. their quality overall is great. there are pricier products, but not necessarilly better ones.
Sound
as with any other acoustic guitar, the woods used are very important. the other very important factor is the strings. i've had mine long enough to have gone through a few sets and noticed a huge difference. my strings of choice for this guitar? elixir or d'addario.
Features
it's an acoustic guitar, no bells and whistles. it came with everything it needed.
Ease of Use
after a slight adjustment to the saddle height, to fit my "druthers", it plays very well.
Quality
the only issue i had quality-wise is that the frets were still a bit rough on the ends. a bit of redressing and they were good to go. other than the fret thing, i had no other problems.
Value
worth the money. the only reason i didn't give a ten is that the only way i see to make the value of this guitar any better is to get it free!!
Manufacturer Support
haven't had to use it. every stringed instrument i own is an ibanez and i've had no problems that had to be taken up with their customer service.
The Wow Factor
i do wish they would make a rosewood model. i love that sound!

"Worthwhile in sound, appearence, and price."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I know that I won't ever look to "replace" this instrument. I think that every instrument reguardless of wheather it is a different brand or the exact same make and model has different characteristics and a diferent feel. Just like snowflakes no two instruments are the same...period. I may someday see another 12 string acoustic that I like that has a different sound, feel and look to it and I might buy it. But, I will never look to replace...just add to.
Sound
I am not a great guitar player by any means but I am a well trained musician so I know a good sound when I hear it. I also worked at a music store for a few years so I know whats out there. I was given one of these guitars as a gift and I absolutely love it. It suits my needs perfectly, has a great sound and is very responsive to my style of playing which is..well, anything I CAN play. I would suggest this guitar to anyone ho is looking for great sound, great feel, and beautiful looks but isn't really up for spending an extremely large sum of money. In my opinion, it is under-priced for the quality o instrument that you get.
Features
I can't say that I expected more features from this guitar especially when you consider the price! But then again, I'm not one of those people who likes all the electronic options on an acoustic guitar either.
Quality
I haven't had this guitar all that long so I can't really vouch for the "test of time" reliability but I can say that, to me, it is a very beautiful instrument and I ound absolutely ZERO manufacturing or shipping flaws.
Value
for the money I don't think it can be beat. Perhaps equaled, but not beat.
Manufacturer Support
Don't know...haven't had to worry 'bout that yet!
The Wow Factor
I just think that 12 string guitars have a very beautiful, kind of mystique about them to begin with. That to me makes it a neccessary addition to any musiciand arsenal. They just give you that much more versatility.

"Inexpensive way to have a good 12 string guitar."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I'll keep until it gives out or I do, God willing.
Sound
Spruce top, Mahogany sides and back, beautiful appearance (mine has gold hardware), good sound (apart from built-in electronics, but fine with a mobile pickup such as Dean Markley), all for only $200 - what else could you ask for. This Ibanez is a great way to have cost efficient sound of a 12 String.
Value
The very best value I found - see comments under sound.
Manufacturer Support
no dealings with them
The Wow Factor
I don't know about sex appeal so far as a guitar is concern - that has more to do with the performer's body, I think. However, the appearance is very beautiful (mine also has gold hardware).
