This is my first Guitar. I'm actually a Techno DJ and PS4 nerd, but always wanted to play the Guitar. So when a friend told me about Rocksmith, I had to try it, since I loved Guitar Hero. I chose the Ibanez over the Les Paul, because I'm also a big Japan fan and Ibanez is a Japanese company, (Though the Guitar is made in China ). Sooo. The Guitar is seems well made and from a beginner perspective not cheap at all. The color is awesome, and got me lots of compliments.What impressed me is that I didn't had to Tune it again for the last 4 weeks since I bought it. As a beginner I have to say, you can't go wrong with it. The Amp is great for it being so tiny. Good sound quality. The Tuner is also a great add on and works well. Make sure you get some extra strings, just in case. I got some D'Addario EXL110 XL Electric Guitar Strings (Regular Light, 10-46). They are covered with Nickle plated steel and last a long time. Also get some Strap Locks. My Strap came loose (My fault), an the Guitar almost fell to the ground. And get yourself a Capo. You will need it!!!

Okay, I'm new to playing guitar. I played drums for years and learning guitar has been on my bucket list for a while now. This guitar pack, for the money, can't be beat. Out of the box, the guitar itself is well built, and after a quick tuning, is set up and ready to go. The action is smooth, and the dual humbuckers sound great. The amp, while small, sounds good, and while it won't blow your windows out, it is perfect for learning. Not to mention the tuner, picks and tremolo bar are just added bonuses to the package. If you're starting out, I don't think you can do better for the money.
