So, I decided to buy this because I mean the black on this guitar is great. I didn’t go in thinking this would be a great guitar or a bad guitar. So, I’ll be honest. This guitar does not feel like a guitar that’s under 400 dollars. Like truly sounds great and plays great. The medium height frets are actually pretty comfortable to play on. I’m used to jumbo but have no complaints on the medium frets. Pickups have a nice sound. Haven’t noticed any issues with annoying tinny sound. Trem actually works great. Stays in tune and allows you to do some fun dives. The finish is great. That black just gives it the extra push as a metal guitar. I would say this would be a great guitar for a beginner to someone just wanting to add an extra guitar to their collection. Setup was pretty good. All I had to do was tune it and bam off to the races. Strings are okay. I’m a little partial to my Ernie balls. These strings are decent for a short time. Overall electronics are great. This guitar has surpassed my expectations. Plus you know black on black on black is a great color option. Recommend this guitar for sure.

This is a nice guitar. Out of the box, just give it a tune and you're ready to go... almost.Mine has a bad fret buzz when playing 1-3 frets so I'll have to loosen the strings and try a truss adjustment. Other than the neck issue, sounds really well with the Line 6 Catalyst 60 I ordered along with it for a birthday present to myself. I wasn't expecting much at this price point. I will do a fret job on it, replace the pickups and upgrade the pots over time. I teach guitar so I like to buy cheaper guitars and teach my students how to work on and upgrade them. Maybe start a YouTube channel dedicated to product reviews geared towards beginners... time will tell.
