"Amazing 7 string for the money"

first off, i have bought this guitar back in 2015 and after 3 years f it being my main guitar. i am very impressed. the feel of this guitar is absolutely fluid and fast playing. the neck handles the tension really well, and very easy to adjust. really, only one downside to this guitar. the tuning machines. well, i mean for $200 what do you expect? so i swapped them out for a set of chrome D'addario planet waves locking tuners and the tuning stability is much better. now, the sound, the pickups are pretty good, the neck pickup is great for the "Widdly-dees" with nice and thick charecteristics, and the bridge pickup has some really nice bite to them. so all in all, id say for $200, id definetly reccomend this

I wanted a budget 7 string, I had my doubts about a 200 dollar guitar. This thing crushes I was blown away by the tone, it sounds great and plays great. Worth every dime

"Get the other one, with the maple fretboard"

I’ve had this for about a year, I’ve been playing for 15 or so years. If you think of this guitar and it’s counterpart (with the maple fretboard) as pre-assembled kit guitars, they’re a pretty good value. My only regret is not getting the one with the maple fretboard. Pine is not an ideal wood (it’s softer, more porous) for guitars. I oil the board every time I change strings (once a month) and still, it feels dry and it’s not a great feel for playing. Other than that, it’s a budget guitar and you get what you pay for. It works well, the construction is good, the setup out of the box wasn’t great but I honestly expect that from most guitars you order on the internet. If you don’t play guitar yet but listen to stuff with 7 string guitars, it’s an excellent entry point. If you already play guitar, in my opinion, spend more on something else.

"Plays great for the money but..."

Plays great. Like I was seriously blown away. Would make a great project guitar for the money. Buuuuuuuuuut the neck has seriously razor fret issues. Like every fret. Cut the hands all up. But if you are willing to spend the $50-100 for a fret dressing it's a great guitar. Swap the stock pickups out for some Duncan's and the thing screams. But for the price of that you could honestly just get a better quality guitar. That said: excellent entry level guitar
