Ibanez EDA900 4-String Bass Guitar (Silver Flat)

More comfortable, more balanced, and at the same time utilizes the best combination of magnetic and piezo pickups to give you a rich, strong bass tone, without being overpowering.

"Ibanez eda900 = kickass bass"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
i think this thing will be my friend for life...once i go out and buy one of my own. i gotta stop borrowing things from people...
Sound
bright, punchy and variably growly sound. it just LOVED being picked. very versatile and did exactly what i wanted it to.
Features
no excessive crap. magnetic volume, piezo volume, magnetic tone, pieze treble boost/cut. EXACTLY how i like it. few people know about the adjustable blend controls accessible via the control cavity cover.
Quality
i noticed one of the pots seemed to be a tad too easy to turn relative to the others, but whatever. it worked fine. build quality seemed bulletproof.
Value
i can't believe how well priced this bass is. unbelieveable value. if you want to talk about bang for the buck, this thing is loaded with black powder.
Manufacturer Support
haven't dealth with Ibanez.
The Wow Factor
whenever i play this thing, i get people staring at me, walking up to me, and i seem to be getting a lot of attention from girls.... i think it looks amazing. i love the sparkly silver finish, though i wish Ibanez sold the eda900 with the Jewel Blue finish found in Europe and Asia. it kicks ass on all fronts, visual and functional

"The future of electric bass"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Look guys, if you have a few Franklin's burning a hole in your pocket, don't go buy a rickenbacker or a hofner. This is the cutting edge, this is the future of electric bass.
Sound
This amp has immense low end, it is simply incredible.
Quality
Very very good quality for the price, everything is solid.
Value
Buy it!
Manufacturer Support
Don't know but I'll find out when I buy one.
The Wow Factor

"Excellent bass"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
The blending options with the pickups really let me achieve whatever sound I'm looking for. Combined with a decent amp, very versatile.
Ease of Use
Incredibly easy to use. I've tried a lot of basses to buy one to go with this but not a single one of the traditional basses have had anything superior to this. Tried things like P bass, Jazz bass, Thunderbird etc.
Quality
Perfect finish, very durable from a lto of knocks. Unfortunately a couple of times the wires inside where the jack is have come off a few times. A small solder job but still not great.
Manufacturer Support
No experience.
The Wow Factor
It is very different and attracts admirers, great looking and interesting. Drummers seem to like it for some reason.
